...Dedicating our Monument!
Planning around April 1, we'd like to help
re-establish "Miner's Day" or "Mitchell Day" recognizing the right of the eight-hour workday. Though it took decades to make it a reality for most, the eight-hour day was "won" in 1898!

...Programs and stage performances related to our community history. Our previous events were wonderfully received and offer aspiring performers a great local opportunity

...Academic scholarships and token honoraria for student assistance. More details available soon - please contact Jeanne Cecil
